"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2012."

Che: He twiddles his toes, especially when he's reading. (A strange choice for a portrait, I know, but I couldn't go a whole year without some reference to this quirky trait).
Poet: Ragamuffin.

  2. I am a HUGE fan of portraits that are not portraits in the traditional sense; hand gestures, foot twitches, holding your arms in a certain way…all of these things make up who we are and give such beautiful insight that often a portrait of a face often can’t do with such subtly.

  3. I do love a footsie shot, and those little traits are very special to capture & remember. 'Ragamuffin' that's what I call our little fellas in the morning with their stick up hair and disheveled clothes they've thrown on to quickly get the day underway. These are sweet captures..x

  10. The quirky traits are the exact reason I take pictures of my poppets. They are the little things that don't quite make it to the milestones book but the thigs that sum them up completely...the things I want to remember always. What beautiful images of your babes. Wishing you a wonderful Sunday.

  12. My littlest still likes to wriggle her toes when she reads to me. I like it's a lovely photo because one day those little toes won't be little anymore. I do love Poet's hair and her looks, there's always something she's thinking up;) x

  17. I love the beautiful curls of little Poet! I have a question, the amber necklace is just aesthetics or is for tooth pain? Or am I completely wrong? Thank you :)
