"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2012."
Che: He twiddles his toes, especially when he's reading. (A strange choice for a portrait, I know, but I couldn't go a whole year without some reference to this quirky trait).
Poet: Ragamuffin.

She looks like you here! What a sweet smile! x
ReplyDeleteI love Che's portrait this week.
ReplyDeleteI am a HUGE fan of portraits that are not portraits in the traditional sense; hand gestures, foot twitches, holding your arms in a certain way…all of these things make up who we are and give such beautiful insight that often a portrait of a face often can’t do with such subtly.
ReplyDeleteI do love a footsie shot, and those little traits are very special to capture & remember. 'Ragamuffin' that's what I call our little fellas in the morning with their stick up hair and disheveled clothes they've thrown on to quickly get the day underway. These are sweet captures..x
ReplyDeleteSlightly in love with Poe's top - I wonder if they have my size?! Beautiul images Jodi x
ReplyDeleteChe's quirk is too cute! My daughter crosses her feet when she reads. And Poet's dress is just darling. She dress her well mama : )
ReplyDeletesoo cute! they are really adorible!
ReplyDeleteso beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove little quirks. My wee man points his big toe up when in the highchair eating...... have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteAmazing way to show and see a child.
ReplyDeleteI do the same thing! All the best people do! Xxx
ReplyDeleteThe quirky traits are the exact reason I take pictures of my poppets. They are the little things that don't quite make it to the milestones book but the thigs that sum them up completely...the things I want to remember always. What beautiful images of your babes. Wishing you a wonderful Sunday.

That hair! Those toes! *sigh*
ReplyDeleteOh Poet. And I love that Che twiddles his toes while reading. That's an awesome trait to have.
ReplyDeleteMy littlest still likes to wriggle her toes when she reads to me. I like it's a lovely photo because one day those little toes won't be little anymore. I do love Poet's hair and her looks, there's always something she's thinking up;) x
ReplyDeleteI love the wriggle toe shot. And Poet..adorable as usual!
ReplyDeleteI've (finally) joined in this week :)

I like these two pictures best until now.
ReplyDeleteYou dress your cute little girl so sweetly, i am entirely jealous of her wardrobe!
ReplyDeleteI love the beautiful curls of little Poet! I have a question, the amber necklace is just aesthetics or is for tooth pain? Or am I completely wrong? Thank you :)
