"A portrait of my youngest children, once a week, every week, in 2015."
Poet: she had a bad cold when Percy first arrived so this belated first cuddle was much anticipated.
Percy: since we arrived home from hospital he has spent most of his time lying here, beside me.
Considering it's taken me about two hours to create this post, I'm going to keep it simple this week. Every little thing takes so long with a newborn in tow and I'm enjoying the slow and sleepy nature of our days. This is such a precious time; the unfurling from birth and the becoming of family.

ReplyDeleteCan I tell you how excited I am to see your sweet Percy on here? What a joy! Congratulations. He's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteMan, babies and colds. Totally freaks me out. When my boy was born, my girl came down with a really bad sickness literally the day after he arrived, which obviously meant that he was exposed to all her germs before we knew to keep her away. It tuned out she had mycoplasma, because what's a newborn in Indonesia without an exciting tropical disease??!! He got two colds by the time he was two weeks old which :/ Anyway, kinda rambling here. Wish you guys a wonderful, beautiful, peaceful lying in period. xo
Congratulations again, you sure do make beautiful children x
