"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2012."
Che: Delight at dusk....there will be so many more of these evenings at the beach
Poet: The late afternoon sun streams through the front door. She sits on the stairs; so very Miss Muffet.

Sweet. That afternoon sun is so beautiful. Very jealous of your southern hemisphere summer approaching - I can't quite accept autumn is on its way here.
ReplyDeletegosh Che is growing up!
ReplyDeletelovely picture of Che.......how peaceful that beach looks.

Joining in this week....http://thelittlegnomeshome.blogspot.com.au/2012/09/3652.html
Oh Poet's hair is getting so long! And she seems so good at leaving her clips in! (not the case over here, unfortunately!) x
ReplyDeleteI love this series!
ReplyDeleteI really need to get my hands on a good camera before my little one arrives next month, you have really inspired me to make sure i capture all those precious moments.
ReplyDeleteOh tell me the latest of Poet isn't your favourite portrait now?! (it's mine) x
ReplyDeleteit's definitely one of them...very old-worldly isn't it x
DeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou are a very talented Mum. What gorgeous pictures.
ReplyDeleteLove Mumabulous
Where did that baby go? Poet looks so grown up!!!
ReplyDeletelove love love that warm evening light. beautiful as ever! :)sarah
ReplyDeleteSplendid Shots Jodi! Poet is looking so cute and contemplative.
ReplyDeleteThese photos captivate such light and wonder!
ReplyDeleteOh bless, she's starting to get little girl hair. Change is so beautiful in them but oh so heartbreaking at the same time isn't it? There is always that inner turmoil between wanting to see them develop, learn and grow but also to slow time a whisker. Your photo a week idea is gold. With a new camera to play with (thanks for the suggestions) I'm diving in this week and snapping some portraits of my babes. Thanks for sharing :) x
ReplyDeleteI love to see your photos and how you capture the simple or rather the 'un-simple' things that kids get up to ....But I don't think I have ever seen a photo of Poet running around and getting into mischief. Maybe she is just so well behaved !! :)
ReplyDeleteShe's not walking yet so capturing her 'running' is impossible. She is the queen of mischief though so yes, perhaps that needs to be documented...
DeleteThat photo of poet is definitely my favourite so far - just perfect!... the pose, the light... everything about it! x
ReplyDeleteOh little Miss Muffet! Too precious. :)
