"A portrait of my daughter, once a week, every week, in 2014."
Poet: looking so grown-up all of a sudden. Sigh, she's almost 3 (ISO 800, f2.8, 1/1000th)
Thank you for all your kind words about last week's portrait. I like it too - quite a lot.

ReplyDeleteShe looks so grown up! This period of 2 and a half to 3 seems to see them grow up so quickly!! It's almost enough to make me want to have another.... x
ReplyDeleteWell trust me to say what the others said to the letter - my how she's grown Jodi!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful big girl. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's the hair. When my daughter sports a little top bun, she looks like such a big girl. And thanks for including your photo specs! Is that the right term? I love to learn from others :) -Misty
ReplyDeleteI love the top knot.
ReplyDeleteAnd while I am often struck by how big my boy is…I am just as often struck by how little he still is…especially when he climbs up onto my lap and is still able to snuggle down in beneath my chin.
Wow, those lashes! Something about hairdos always bring out their age for me, whether it's a cut or a new style.
ReplyDeletei know what you mean... my girl just turned three and everytime she does something new by herself, i feel proud and sad at the same time...
ReplyDeleteLove the rosy cheeks and the top knot!

ReplyDeleteLooking very grown up indeed, our daughters must be much the same age.
ReplyDeletesomething about a little ponytail or a bun - they get a few years older in a moment. my daughter's a little older than poet (but with shorter hair) and i am always surprised when you remind us how old she is. it's those hair dos!
