"A portrait of my daughter, once a week, every week, in 2014."
Poet: she pulled a book out of her pocket and started reading before throwing it on the sand and running into the ocean, fully clothed. She is wild and hilarious, brave and articulate (ISO 160, f2.8, 1/200)
I've noticed lately that blogger is doing strange things to images when you upload them as jpegs. Thanks to Tamara and her sound advice I'm now uploading photos as .png and the quality is perfect.

she is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteOh sweetheart! Her dungarees!!
ReplyDeleteI love that she ran in fully clothed! I feel like doing that at the beach. There is something so refreshing about that salty sea water hitting your skin.

ReplyDeleteLOVE this photo of Poet!! I can see Che in her face and expression.
ReplyDeleteAren't kids just awesome! We just spent almost a week over Easter camping by the Murray River and the 16 kids, 15 of them aged six and under were in out of the water all day, in wetsuits, bathers, rashies...and fully clothed. We hung and dried so many sets of clothes. Fun times! x Dre
She is so cute! I'd love to go for a swim in the ocean right now!
ReplyDeleteLove her spirit!
ReplyDeleteI love her spirit too. I can imagine the sequel :)
ReplyDeletegorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLovely picture, Jodi! Google Plus has integrated an Auto Enhance feature which automatically edits your uploaded pictures, so if you go to your settings and turn it off that will fix the issue. I figured that our last week when my black and whites were looking sepia :/
ReplyDeleteCan I ask a question? Is this on the Blogger setting page that says 'showcase images with Lightbox?' or is this someplace else? I also noticed the sepia thing and was wondering what was going on....:)
DeleteYou need to go to your google + account settings and scroll down to "image enhancement" x
DeleteThis is childhood, immersed in a book one minute running into the sea without a care the next. It makes me yearn for the coast for our little one. Beautiful capture. x
