Who knew that a $6 bunch of supermarket roses could become so many things.... Table decoration, a trigger of childhood memories and subsequent reminiscing; "he loves me, he loves me not," ingredients for pretend tea, the inspiration for a portrait, the perfect prop against crinkled linen, windowsill installation. There really is beauty in the simple things...and the simple things are not expensive.
Gorgeous! I also love the brighter exposure in these photos. Your signature slight under-exposure is always perfect, but these pictures exude a special warmth that is really connecting with me today!
Just beautiful. We live by a vineyard and walk there often. I often take scissors with me when we go on our walks. It is amazing what grows along the fence lines. Fresh flowers in my home are always such a mood lifter. xo
